Business Analyst / Product Owner - Calypso

VISTULO is seeking an experienced Business Analyst and Product Owner with hands-on Calypso expertise to join a team supporting one of the world's largest Calypso deployments. You will work directly with business stakeholders at a top North American bank, driving end-to-end product delivery for Fixed Income and Interest Rate & Credit Derivatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, and Risk teams to manage issue remediations and roll out new products or CCPs.
• Collect and define requirements, advising on technical feasibility within the Calypso ecosystem.
• Configure pricing parameters, volatility surfaces, and market data curves for complex derivative products.
• Investigate complex pricing-related issues, including NPV, accruals, settlement flows, and PnL.
• Validate and test Calypso patches and monthly releases while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner.
• Extensive hands-on experience with recent Calypso versions (v17+) in sell-side organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Interest Rate and Credit derivatives, including pricing, risk, and electronic trading.
• Proficiency in Calypso back-office modules, accounting, and settlement processes.
• Ability to maintain a 3–4 hour daily overlap with US Eastern business hours.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate high-stakes, trader-facing environments.
