Business Analyst -Tax Technology

Awareson is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join an international team focused on developing a global technology product dedicated to tax processes and compliance. This role sits at the intersection of tax expertise, business analysis, and IT, requiring you to bridge the gap between complex regulatory needs and technical software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and document business and tax requirements for a global software product.
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand tax processes, regulations, and business needs.
• Translate tax-related requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions to identify process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
• Practical knowledge or professional experience within the tax domain, such as VAT, CIT, or tax reporting.
• Strong ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements for IT teams.
• Experience working with software development teams and managing product backlogs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Very good command of the English language.
