Business Analyst -Student Financial Assistance

High Tech Genesis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale IT modernization initiative focused on student financial assistance and loan systems. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to define requirements, optimize business processes, and facilitate the successful implementation of complex software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder consultations to define functional and non-functional needs.
• Analyze current-state processes and develop future-state workflows, user stories, and use cases for complex financial systems.
• Manage requirements and traceability for large-scale software implementations, including ERP and financial integrations.
• Translate business requirements into technical features while working closely with developers and solution architects.
• Support testing, UAT, implementation readiness, and the transition to operations for new system deployments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
• At least 5 years of experience working within an IT or software development environment.
• Proven track record of working with financial loan systems and ERP or accounting integrations.
• Strong experience in the public sector or government environments.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder management.
