micro1 is seeking an experienced Biostatistician to contribute clinical statistics expertise to a dynamic project focused on AI-assisted clinical research. In this role, you will apply your domain knowledge to help train next-generation AI systems, ensuring high-quality, real-world input that shapes how models learn and reason.
Key responsibilities
- Author and review evaluation tasks that require deriving, reproducing, or validating statistical outputs from clinical datasets and associated tables, figures, and listings.
- Assess the correctness and consistency of reported estimates, confidence intervals, p-values, and missing data handling in alignment with statistical analysis plans.
- Identify discrepancies between statistical outputs and their narrative descriptions in clinical study reports, including errors in population definitions or censoring rules.
- Establish defensible ground truth for evaluation tasks and document derivation processes to enable independent verification.
- Provide structured written rationales distinguishing statistical errors from methodological alternatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a biostatistician supporting clinical trials at a sponsor, CRO, or academic unit.
- Hands-on experience producing or quality controlling TFLs for regulatory submissions using CDISC SDTM/ADaM datasets.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods for confirmatory trials, including survival analysis, mixed models, and multiplicity control.
- Proficiency in SAS or R with the ability to independently reproduce analyses from written specifications.
- Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
