Billing Systems Engineer

Solera is a global leader in data and software services, transforming the vehicle lifecycle into a connected digital experience while protecting homes and digital identities. We are currently seeking a Billing Systems Engineer to join our team, acting in a hybrid capacity as both a developer and a data analyst to support our critical financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support financial operations.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and configure new billing models.
• Analyze large datasets to troubleshoot billing discrepancies and ensure system accuracy.
• Collaborate on system architecture, CI/CD automation, and the migration of legacy applications to the cloud.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development and data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET WebAPI, and Transact-SQL.
• Experience with TDD/BDD, REST/SOAP web services, and SQL Server databases.
• Ability to create reports using PowerBI or JasperReport and intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
