BigQuery / Analytics Engineer (GCP) | Remote Bulgaria

DCV Technologies is looking for an experienced BigQuery / Analytics Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on designing and maintaining robust data architectures within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem to support complex analytical needs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses on GCP.
• Develop efficient ETL/ELT processes using Python, PySpark, and Dataflow.
• Implement real-time data ingestion solutions using CDC-based technologies.
• Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise-level data systems.
• Establish and enforce data governance, CI/CD best practices, and performance optimization standards.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in BigQuery and Analytics Engineering.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.
• Deep expertise in GCP services including Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer.
• Proven ability to work with CDC pipelines such as Datastream and Debezium.
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD methodologies.
