BI Developer

Opis stanowiska

We’re looking for a BI Developer to join our team and support the implementation, development, and maintenance of reporting solutions for clients across various industries. You’ll work on end-to-end BI projects – from gathering business requirements and designing data models, through building data integration processes (Power BI or more often in Snowflake/Azure), to delivering clear, interactive dashboards that drive real business decisions.

Zakres obowiązków

• Design and develop reports and dashboards in Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Build interactive, user-friendly visualizations aligned with UX/UI best practices.
• Develop data models and create DAX measures and calculations.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources (databases, Excel, SharePoint, API, CSV, OData, etc.).
• Publish and maintain reports in Power BI Service – workspaces, permissions, refresh schedules.
• Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements and design effective BI solutions.
• Participate in consulting-style projects, proactively suggesting improvements to reporting, automation, and data processes.

Wymagania

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop (visualizations, dashboards, data storytelling).
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and SQL (queries, views).
• Proficiency in DAX for building efficient calculations and measures.
• Experience with Power BI Service administration and maintenance.
• Knowledge of ETL / ELT processes (e.g., Power Query, Dataflows, Azure Data Factory, or similar).
• Ability to work with multiple and diverse data sources.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Attention to detail, quality, and report performance.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate.
• Proactive attitude and focus on delivering business value through data.
• Curiosity and initiative – we expect active engagement in improving reporting and automation processes.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake).
• Experience with Python for data analysis or integration.
• Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-300, DA-100).
