BI Consultant

ASTRAL FOREST is looking for a skilled BI Consultant to join our team and help clients transform their data into actionable business insights. You will work on diverse, real-world projects across industries like iGaming, retail, and automotive, bridging the gap between complex business needs and technical data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Power BI projects from initial discovery to final delivery.
• Design and optimize scalable, insightful dashboards and build efficient data models using best practices in DAX and dimensional modeling.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for Power BI using Azure DevOps or GitHub to ensure high-quality deployments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to deliver complete, robust solutions.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers, sharing expertise in performance tuning, report optimization, and data governance.

Requirements

• Advanced Power BI development skills with a focus on performance and scalable architecture.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and building complex, interactive visualizations.
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with cloud or on-prem databases like Azure SQL, SQL Server, or Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI Service administration, security management, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
