BI Analyst – Trading Operations (Esports) (m/f/x)

GRID is seeking a dedicated BI Analyst to join our Trading team and support esports trading operations through advanced data, reporting, and statistical tools. In this role, you will work closely with traders and data teams to ensure that trading decisions are supported by accurate, timely, and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trading performance dashboards and reports using industry-standard BI tools.
• Develop clean, reliable datasets using advanced SQL to support analysis and collaborate with Engineering to productionize scalable data solutions.
• Create automated reporting pipelines for daily and weekly performance metrics to monitor trading activity.
• Establish robust KPI frameworks and performance tracking systems to identify growth opportunities.
• Support traders with ad-hoc analysis and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in BI, analytics, or reporting roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL with a proven ability to build structured, analysis-ready datasets.
• Hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Strong understanding of sportsbook or trading KPIs, including turnover, GGR, margin, and exposure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
