micro1 is seeking experienced Bankruptcy Attorneys to contribute specialized legal expertise to an innovative project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your deep domain knowledge to shape how models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world legal input.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and annotate complex legal documents specific to bankruptcy law, providing expert feedback and substantive commentary.
- Draft sample motions, pleadings, and court filings that reflect both common and complex scenarios in bankruptcy proceedings.
- Evaluate hypothetical legal scenarios and deliver well-reasoned written explanations and argumentation.
- Assess model-generated legal answers for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current U.S. bankruptcy law.
- Identify nuances and emerging trends in bankruptcy law to enhance the quality and breadth of the project.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active license to practice law in the United States with 3 to 15 years of recent, hands-on bankruptcy law experience.
- Direct experience as an independent contributor on bankruptcy matters, including filings, court appearances, and advisory work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain intricate legal concepts clearly.
