Backend .NET Tech Lead

Growe is looking for an experienced Backend .NET Tech Lead to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding our development efforts, ensuring high-quality code, and driving architectural improvements within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and tune system designs to identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
• Perform code and design reviews while leading research and POCs for new features.
• Mentor and guide an engineering team of backend developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and high ownership.
• Support current functionality and maintain backward compatibility for releases.
• Identify areas for improvement and manage technical debt effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of .NET web development experience with deep expertise in .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead position with experience in microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of backend architecture principles, including experience with SSE, Long Polling, and WebSockets.
• Proficiency in Unit and Integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, result-oriented mindset.
