Backend Engineer (Senior+)

Miris is a cutting-edge technology company dedicated to building the future of 3D content delivery at a global scale. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fully remote team and help us empower creators to deliver high-fidelity, photorealistic 3D experiences across all major platforms and devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design backend services and the API layer for a multi-tenant streaming service.
• Implement full customer-facing and enterprise-facing web server backends operating at scale.
• Develop robust web application architecture and ensure high security standards.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance existing codebases to improve global performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with backend services and API development.
• Proven experience building high-traffic web services using Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud-based systems.
• Deep knowledge of architecture and design patterns for complex web services.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTish APIs, as well as working with containers and CDNs.
