Backend Engineer (Node.js)

Craftware is a technology company of over 500 experts, empowering large organizations to solve complex business challenges with modern IT solutions. We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our international project team and contribute to the development of reliable, secure, and scalable server-side applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side Node.js applications and services.
• Build and maintain system and data integration solutions, including data analysis, transformation, and validation.
• Design and implement REST-like APIs.
• Contribute to distributed systems architecture, applying design patterns for robustness, scaling, and failure handling.
• Work with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, and S3.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Node.js server-side development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in system and data integration.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design patterns and architecture.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services and the GitHub tool suite, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Good communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
