Backend Engineer (Mid / Senior)

INTER-TEAM, part of the MEKO group, is looking for Mid and Senior Backend Engineers to join a cross-functional product team. You will work on a modern platform built with TypeScript, focusing on solving complex problems and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into well-defined technical solutions and participate in system architecture discussions.
• Work with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Utilize AI coding tools and agents to support development while ensuring code quality through reviews and testing.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and product stakeholders.

Requirements

• Solid backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of API design, databases, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and a quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team with good English communication skills.
• For Senior roles: strong system design experience and ability to lead technical discussions.
