Backend Engineer (IIoT Platform)

cloudatus is a premier cloud service and consulting provider dedicated to helping enterprises navigate their digital transformation journeys. We are currently seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our international team and contribute to the development of an advanced IIoT platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand an IIoT platform focused on condition monitoring and predictive maintenance for industrial gearbox products.
• Analyze, design, and implement robust backend software solutions using Java.
• Utilize modern cloud technologies within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Collaborate within a dynamic, cross-functional team responsible for the entire product lifecycle.
• Actively participate in and support agile methodologies and processes, including SCRUM.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Professional experience in agile software development using Java or C# technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Proven ability to design and implement container-based, scalable microservice architectures, ideally using Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency with modern development tools and practices, including TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and OpenAPI.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level) to facilitate collaboration with global clients.
