Backend Developer with German - Node.js / TypeScript🚀

Bytamic Solutions is an international IT services and consulting company seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join a long-term enterprise project. You will focus on the development, modernization, and stabilization of a large-scale platform serving over one million users while collaborating with an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and system integrations.
• Analyze and refactor existing code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with German-speaking colleagues and stakeholders to clarify requirements and discuss technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote clean code and good engineering practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with NestJS or a similar backend framework.
• Practical German language skills at B1 level or higher, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Ability to understand German-language documentation, tickets, and project requirements.
• Good English communication skills.
