Backend Developer (PHP)

Andersen is a global software development company seeking a skilled Backend Developer (PHP) to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable digital solutions for international clients across diverse industries, including FinTech, Healthcare, and eCommerce.

Key responsibilities

• Designing backend architecture and making critical technical decisions for complex corporate portals and e-commerce projects.
• Developing and maintaining high-performance PHP-based systems while ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Implementing and managing integrations with external systems, such as payment gateways, CRM/ERP platforms, and marketplaces.
• Designing and implementing robust APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Communicating directly with clients to clarify requirements and discuss technical implementation details.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x, OOP, and SOLID principles.
• Commercial experience with Laravel and/or Symfony frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce and WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
