Backend Developer (Nodejs)

Andersen is a pre-IPO software development company seeking a skilled Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our international team. You will be responsible for building scalable server-side solutions for global projects across diverse industries such as fintech, healthcare, and retail.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing robust backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborating with a distributed team to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and performing thorough code reviews.
• Implementing unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
• Working with both relational and NoSQL databases to manage data effectively.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer using Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with NestJS or Express.js frameworks.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Upper-Intermediate level of English and Intermediate level of German.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices.
