Backend Developer Level III

Hudson Manpower is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale large-scale distributed systems supporting enterprise fulfillment platforms. This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on Node.js, TypeScript, Azure, microservices, and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build highly available, resilient, and fault-tolerant cloud-native services for enterprise platforms.
• Design APIs capable of handling significant transaction volumes and build asynchronous, event-driven integrations.
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement comprehensive logging, metrics, and tracing to ensure system observability and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong, recent Node.js and TypeScript expertise.
• Proven experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Meaningful, recent experience with Microsoft Azure and strong REST API development skills.
• Deep understanding of distributed-system concepts including scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and idempotency.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline development.
