Backend AI Engineer – Agentic AI (Python)

As a Mid Backend AI Engineer, you will build the service layer behind agentic AI solutions, combining Python, FastAPI, and Temporal with AI agents running on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and building service layers for applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Developing AI agents and agentic workflows, including those based on GitHub Agentic Workflows.
• Building durable, reliable workflow orchestration with Temporal.
• Integrating AI agents with backend services, APIs, and external systems.
• Deploying and running solutions on Azure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in backend development with Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and clean architecture principles.
• Experience with Temporal or other workflow orchestration tools.
• Practical experience building AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Fluent English communication skills for effective international collaboration.
