Back End Software Engineer (Golang, C++)

Intrepid Ventures is a blockchain venture studio seeking a skilled Back-End Software Engineer to join our globally distributed team. You will play a key role in designing and building innovative blockchain protocols and decentralized applications from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance blockchain protocols and decentralized application back-ends.
• Architect scalable and fault-tolerant software systems using AWS infrastructure.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and query languages for large-scale distributed systems.
• Collaborate with a diverse, international team in an asynchronous environment to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional back-end engineering experience in a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and C++, with experience using LLVM.
• Solid experience with Linux, Docker, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Deep knowledge of user authentication and authorization across complex systems.
• Strong written communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a remote, distributed culture.
