Azure Lead Engineer

Intellias is looking for an Azure Lead Engineer to own the technical direction and engineering quality of a global enterprise Azure platform. This hands-on leadership role focuses on designing, evolving, and operating secure, scalable, and governed cloud environments while driving automation and reliability across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Azure technical roadmap, reference architectures, and reusable implementation patterns.
• Design and operate enterprise Azure Landing Zones, including management groups, identity, and policy-driven governance.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and automated lifecycle management using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish observability, operational readiness, and FinOps practices to optimize resilience and cost.
• Coordinate delivery across squads and represent the Cloud Hub in technical decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Over five years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE, with at least three years specifically in Azure.
• Proven expertise in designing multi-subscription Azure platforms and Landing Zones.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including hub-and-spoke models, VNets, routing, and security controls.
• Production experience with IaC tools, scripting languages like Python or PowerShell, and Git-based delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and influence stakeholders in a global environment.
