co.brick Talents is looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps & Legacy Migration Engineer to lead the modernization and migration of complex legacy systems. You will be responsible for transitioning outdated Windows Server and SQL Server environments to modern Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and system stability throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze legacy database objects, stored procedures, views, and permissions across SQL Server environments to map dependencies.
• Execute end-to-end database migrations from legacy SQL Servers to Azure SQL or SQL Managed Instance.
• Perform SQL profiling, workload analysis, and data integrity validations to ensure successful cutovers.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and provision cloud landing zones using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Develop and execute controlled decommissioning plans for legacy Windows Server hosts and application components.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading database migrations, legacy system modernizations, and cloud infrastructure automation.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server 2012, Windows Server 2012/2016, and database migration techniques including export/import and backup/restore.
• Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure SQL, Key Vault, RBAC, networking, and monitoring.
• Ability to perform complex dependency mapping and troubleshoot legacy application tiers.
