micro1 is seeking skilled Autodesk Inventor Specialists to join a customer-focused project centered on advanced mechanical design. In this role, you will leverage your domain expertise to contribute to the development of next-generation AI systems, ensuring that models learn from high-quality, real-world engineering inputs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop fully-parametric 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies based on detailed technical briefs.
- Edit and update existing models to reflect revised requirements while maintaining parametric integrity and industry best practices.
- Audit and review CAD models for compliance with dimensional, tolerance, and manufacturability criteria.
- Create and interpret detailed technical drawings using ASME Y14.5 or equivalent GD&T standards.
- Ensure robust Design for Manufacturability (DFM) considerations across various processes including injection molding, sheet metal, and CNC machining.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on parametric modeling experience, with 10+ years preferred for complex creation tasks.
- Expertise in Autodesk Inventor, with fluency in platforms like SolidWorks or Fusion 360 considered highly relevant.
- Demonstrated proficiency with GD&T and practical application of manufacturing standards.
- Proven experience in DFM across multiple manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, or CNC.
- Ability to manage complex assembly-level designs and mechanical systems effectively.
