micro1 is seeking an Autodesk Fusion 360 Specialist to contribute to a high-impact project focused on advanced parametric CAD modeling. In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
Key responsibilities
- Develop fully parametric 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies based on detailed briefs, focusing on robust sketching and feature trees.
- Edit and update existing parametric CAD models to reflect evolving requirements while ensuring manufacturability.
- Audit and review CAD models for dimensional accuracy, tolerance application, and alignment with design intent.
- Apply deep knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and CNC machining to optimize designs.
- Support AI model training by delivering consistent, high-quality CAD data and clear documentation of design decisions.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with parametric CAD platforms, specifically Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
- Proven application of GD&T principles in real-world projects.
- Demonstrated DFM expertise across multiple manufacturing processes relevant to the project scope.
- Strong ability to handle complex assembly-level modeling tasks.
- Experience in reverse engineering workflows, such as scan-to-CAD or point cloud conversions.
