Attorney

micro1 is seeking experienced Transactional Attorneys to join a confidential project at the intersection of law and artificial intelligence. In this role, you will leverage your legal expertise to train next-generation AI systems, helping models learn and reason through high-quality, real-world input based on your professional domain knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs, following established playbooks and company policies.
• Analyze contract drafts to identify key issues and determine appropriate company positions or fallback outcomes.
• Draft clear, reasoned written explanations detailing the rationale behind each redline or revision made to the documents.
• Apply advanced knowledge of contract drafting and technology transactions to real-world legal documentation.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure high standards of consistency and quality in all legal interpretations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 4 years of transactional practice experience at a law firm or as an in-house attorney.
• Deep familiarity with commercial provisions such as indemnification, limitation of liability, and data protection.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex legal concepts into clear, actionable written analyses.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
