Atlassian Engineer

The Agile & Atlassian team operates in two areas: Agile methodologies in their broadest sense and the Atlassian Stack ecosystem. The team currently consists of over 100 specialists.

As an Atlassian Platinum Partner, we provide comprehensive support to our clients in implementing Atlassian platform products — from the deployment and automation of business processes to tool maintenance and optimization, as well as training and licensing consulting. We deliver projects in both on-premise and cloud environments.

As an Atlassian Engineer, you will act as the primary technical expert for enterprise-scale Atlassian platform administration and integration, directly supporting business operations for over 1,000 users.

Your tasks

• Act as the main point of contact for business-driven integration initiatives involving Atlassian products
• Handle end-to-end integration workflows – from collecting requirements and assessing feasibility to designing architecture, implementing solutions, deploying them, and documenting the process
• Evaluate, recommend, and optimise plugin usage to meet evolving business needs and enhance workflows, reporting, and automation capabilities
• Establish best practices for governance, user management, and tool optimisation

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence (both Cloud and Data Center), and advanced reporting using SQL and JQL
• Expertise in managing, optimising, and streamlining complex Jira workflows, permission schemes, and reporting tools
• Advanced proficiency in Groovy scripting, REST API, webhooks, middleware platforms, and custom automation for enterprise-scale solutions
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations between Atlassian tools and external systems (e.g. identity systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, or Azure AD)
• Ability to design scalable integration architectures and troubleshoot data flow, API limits, auth methods, and sync issues
• Strong experience with 3rd-party add-ons: ScriptRunner and Automation for Jira, with the ability to identify and implement automation opportunities
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level or higher
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required

Nice to have

• Experience with migrating Atlassian environments (e.g., Server/Data Center to Cloud)
• Previous work with Jira plugin development, Cloud or Data Center
