What will you work on as an Atlassian Support Engineer?

Atlassian Services unit works on providing comprehensive support to our clients who use Atlassian's tools. The unit consists of specialists handling the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of, as well as consultants. Currently, we are looking for another astronaut who will help in handling the 1st and 2nd line requests and problems.

Who will you work with?

The team is called AS Support and there are 3 people in it. There is a Team Leader, Senior Atlassian Engineer and one Atlassian Support Engineer. Everyone in the team has a few assigned projects, and they are a backup in other projects as well. The team works closely together, participates in daily meetings and meets weekly for development purposes (discussing new areas or analyzing more difficult problems).

What tasks await you in this role?

  • providing 1st and 2nd line of support - resolving incidents and requests reported by users through Jira Service Management;
  • cooperation with 3rd line of support in terms of coordination of customer’s requests;
  • collecting requirements from Customers and problem solving;
  • verifying task queues on projects, task prioritization and planning, being responsible for updating information in issues;
  • responding to enquiries from clients ensuring their satisfaction in a specific SLAs;
  • participating in support projects and meetings involving various services around Atlassian tools;
  • supporting customers within Atlassian applications and processes – Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket;
  • supporting Sales with technical knowledge about Atlassian Products;
  • conducting trainings and providing consultations to customers;
  • in your day-to-day tasks you will be supported by a global team of IT professionals, who became experts at what they do.

You are the one we’re looking for, if:

you have the following skills:

  • practical knowledge of Atlassian products from the user and administrator side;
  • knowledge of the ScriptRunner add-on and Groovy scripting experience in building, configuring and standardizing application environments;
  • knowledge of the different type of hosting Atlassian products;
  • experience in Customer Support;
  • fluent Polish language;
  • communicative spoken and written English (min. level B2).

You can expect the following 4 recruitment stages:

  1. CV screening - we read about your experience and make sure that it matches our needs.
  2. Phone interview - during these 30 minutes the recruiter describes the role further and asks a few questions (i.e. about your expectations and notice period).
  3. Online interview - here you meet the recruiter, the team leader, and a specialist, who verify your skills. The meeting usually lasts about 1h.
  4. The decision, which is presented to you about 2 weeks after the interview.
