Associate Forward Deployed Engineer

Micro1 is seeking an Associate Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will support critical data ingestion and customer data operations by executing technical workflows, monitoring processes, and ensuring the integrity of data transfers while working closely with our experienced engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Size, prepare, and transfer customer datasets according to established protocols.
• Execute and monitor data ingestion workflows to ensure successful completion.
• Validate transfer results and identify any discrepancies or data quality issues.
• Communicate status updates, blockers, and follow-ups to both customers and internal teams.
• Maintain clear operational documentation and escalate issues when unexpected behavior is identified.

Requirements

• Strong ownership, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, or general data workflows.
• Clear and concise written communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to follow structured runbooks while exercising good judgment regarding production systems.
