Associate Engineer (for Computer Science students)

Sopra Steria Polska is seeking an Associate Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of IoT and embedded systems projects. This role is designed for Computer Science students looking to gain professional experience in software development, maintenance, and testing within an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of software and IoT/IT system components.
• Support the configuration, installation, and maintenance of systems, software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
• Prepare, execute, and document software tests, including unit tests.
• Support cybersecurity analysis activities and incident resolution.
• Participate in system monitoring and production deployment preparations.

Requirements

• Student status in Computer Science or a related field.
• Good knowledge of C++, Python, or C#.
• Experience working with Linux environments on embedded platforms.
• Ability to containerize applications using Docker.
• Knowledge of hardware platforms such as Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, ESP32, or STM32.
• English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation.
