Associate Director, Accounting

Precision for Medicine is a leading Clinical Research Organisation dedicated to advancing precision medicine through innovative clinical trial designs and advanced data analytics. We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Director, Accounting to join our growing team and oversee general ledger processes across multiple business units and legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own general ledger accounting processes for all P&L and balance sheet accounts while ensuring accounting policies are documented.
• Manage Treasury and Accounts Payable functions, including cash flow forecasting and invoice approvals.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and finalize corporate SGA budgets and forecasts with accurate allocation methods.
• Train and mentor staff, ensuring process documentation and adherence to GAAP standards are maintained.
• Oversee statutory accounting and reporting requirements, serving as the primary contact for local accounting and tax partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience, including managing multiple legal entities within EMEA.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of developing teams and fostering cross-functional relationships.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with computerized ledger systems.
