Precision for Medicine is a leading Clinical Research Organisation dedicated to advancing precision medicine through innovative clinical trial designs, advanced biomarker solutions, and data analytics. We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Director, Accounting to join our growing team and oversee general ledger processes across multiple business units and legal entities.
Key responsibilities
- Own general ledger accounting processes for all P&L and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Manage Treasury and Accounts Payable functions, including cash flow forecasting and invoice approvals.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, including payroll liabilities, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts.
- Finalize corporate SGA budgets and provide actual-to-budget spend analysis to support management decision-making.
- Train and mentor accounting staff, ensuring process documentation and adherence to US GAAP standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage statutory accounting and reporting requirements for multiple entities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 12+ years of relevant accounting experience, including managing multiple legal entities within EMEA.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of developing teams and fostering cross-functional relationships.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with computerized ledger systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership.
