Architect

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Architect to join our team and provide technical leadership for large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the financial services sector. You will play a pivotal role in shaping architectural decisions, driving engineering excellence, and supporting platform modernization across multiple international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive technical direction across multiple international teams and strategic initiatives.
• Design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions using Java and Angular.
• Lead architecture discussions and establish engineering standards.
• Support platform modernization and cross-team integration efforts.
• Act as a trusted advisor for technical decisions and roadmap planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Angular 18+.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL, JPA/Hibernate, and software architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent English communication skills and experience influencing technical strategy.
