Arabic Language Expert

Micro1 is seeking an Arabic Language Expert to contribute to the development of next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your linguistic expertise to shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world input through speech data.

Key responsibilities

• Record clear, high-quality audio clips in native Modern Standard Arabic to build robust AI speech models.
• Assess and annotate phonetic, pronunciation, and intonation data with high linguistic accuracy.
• Evaluate speech recognition outputs to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the team to refine data collection processes and maintain organized, high-quality data sets.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and data quality protocols throughout all project phases.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of phonetics, phonology, and the nuances of Arabic pronunciation.
• Comfortable using recording devices and audio software to produce clear, professional speech samples.
• High attention to detail when listening to, annotating, and evaluating complex speech data.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and contribute to AI workflow improvements.
