Applied AI Senior Consultant

Dura Digital is seeking an experienced, client-focused Applied AI Senior Consultant to support a healthcare client on a consulting engagement. In this role, you will help design, deliver, and expand AI-powered solutions for health plans and payer organizations, combining technical expertise with operational knowledge to drive measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted AI advisor to health plan and payer customers.
• Lead discovery and solution-design workshops to translate operational challenges into practical AI opportunities.
• Design and deliver AI solutions for workflows such as utilization management, claims processing, and care management.
• Establish governance, human-in-the-loop controls, and safeguards for AI-enabled workflows.
• Develop AI adoption roadmaps and monitor success measures for initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, or solution delivery with a focus on applied AI.
• Direct experience with payer, managed-care, or health plan operations.
• Proven success designing and delivering AI solutions in production environments.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, RAG, workflow automation, and agentic AI patterns.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, data privacy, and security in regulated environments.
