Application Support Engineer (PHP/Laravel/Vue)

For the pharmaceutical company we're looking for Application Support Engineer. This role focuses on developing and optimizing internal digital tools for clinical trials and patient data collection. The position requires a collaborative professional to manage system administration—specifically Mobile Device Management and Customer Support tools—and work within a Scrum team to deliver continuous improvements. Ideal candidates should possess at least three years of web development experience, with proficiency in PHP/Laravel, Vue, CSS, HTML, and MySQL, alongside expertise in cloud deployment (Azure/AWS), containerized applications, and API integrations in a remote-friendly environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and maintaining internal apps used by client

• Working with the Scrum team to brainstorm, refine and deliver the sprint scope 

• Ongoing support and optimization of multiple tools used on a daily basis during mobile device installation

• Maintaining the tool that enables automatic parsing of ingested data

• Working on integration of MDM with other in house systems

• Continuous and timely improvements throughout lifecycle of the tool

• Mobile Device Management system administration

• Customer Support system administration

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience deploying and managing cloud applications on Azure or AWS

• Developing containerized applications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with websites development and customization ( PHP, highly preferable experience with Laravel)

  • CSS, HTML experience

  • MySQL 

  • Javascript (highly preferable experience with Vue)

• Experience with integrations & APIs
