Application Architect - Remote from EU

AlmavivA de Belgique is seeking a highly experienced Application Architect to join our team. This role is fully remote for candidates based in Europe, focusing on designing robust integration architectures and cloud-native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform market analysis and proof of concept work to validate designs and identify suitable technologies for delivery streams.
• Collaborate with ICT Engineering and Operations teams to oversee the implementation of approved designs.
• Provide expert design knowledge to clarify technical requirements and steer projects toward successful delivery.
• Participate in complex system integration projects and contribute to the EU Interoperability program.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in ICT solution design, with a strong focus on integration and microservices architectures.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, including REST APIs and message queues.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions based on cloud-native infrastructure such as Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of security and access management best practices for cloud-native environments.
• Excellent ability to create clear technical documentation and present architectural decisions to diverse audiences.
