API Integration Designer (Apigee, GCP)

YourITeams is looking for an experienced API Integration Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade API management solutions using Apigee on the Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust API management solutions using Apigee on GCP.
• Create and maintain API proxies, policies, and configurations to meet enterprise requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to integrate APIs with backend systems and external services.
• Define and enforce API standards, governance guidelines, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance while supporting the full lifecycle management of APIs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Apigee, including proxy development and policy configuration.
• Solid practical experience with Google Cloud Platform services relevant to API management.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, SOAP integration, and security standards like OAuth 2.0 and mTLS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts effectively in English.
