Apache Superset Developer

Kratos Growth is an AI-driven consumer intelligence platform processing over 50 billion data points monthly for global brands. We are seeking an experienced Apache Superset Developer to lead our migration from Power BI and take technical ownership of our analytics dashboard ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate existing Power BI dashboards to Apache Superset, focusing on significant performance improvements and faster load times.
• Architect and maintain a reusable, parameterized chart library accessible via Superset's API.
• Optimize the integration between Superset and Databricks, including managing caching, semantic layers, and query patterns.
• Establish and enforce dashboarding standards and Jinja templates to ensure consistent, scalable development across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into high-impact dashboards for enterprise clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data visualization development.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Apache Superset in production environments.
• Advanced SQL skills, including proficiency with window functions, CTEs, and complex query optimization.
• Proven experience working with Databricks, Spark SQL, or similar modern lakehouse platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Git workflows and collaborative software development practices.
