Android Team Lead – India Collaboration Experience

BRAVER IT is seeking an experienced Android Team Lead to join our team and drive the development of our high-quality VPN applications. In this role, you will lead architectural decisions, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with international stakeholders to deliver robust mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of new features, focusing on complex networking and VPN technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend, QA, and security, to deliver end-to-end features.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers while establishing engineering best practices and conducting code reviews.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues using advanced debugging tools and performance metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on Android expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and modern Android architecture patterns like MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, sockets, and routing.
• Proven experience working with international teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with Android security principles and performance optimization.
