Android Developer (Construction Tech)

Sigma Software is seeking a skilled Middle Android Developer to join a product-focused team building modern mobile solutions for the construction industry. You will work on a business-critical platform that integrates software with physical hardware to improve workforce management and safety for hundreds of thousands of daily users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement scalable features following Clean Architecture principles and participate in technical decision-making.
• Refactor and modernize existing codebases to ensure long-term maintainability and performance.
• Integrate native Android capabilities, including NFC, Bluetooth, and Camera SDKs, into the product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including iOS engineers, QA specialists, and backend developers, throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in professional Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and the Android SDK.
• Solid understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and unit testing tools like JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently drive feature development and solve complex technical problems.
• Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency for effective communication within an agile, distributed team environment.
