Ambulance Dispatcher - Emergency Communications Specialist

micro1 is seeking an experienced Ambulance Dispatcher and Emergency Communications Specialist to contribute domain expertise to a project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this fully remote role, you will apply your professional knowledge to help AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world input based on your experience in emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and triage emergency requests via radio, phone, and chat, applying standardized protocols and checklists for accuracy.
• Prioritize concurrent requests to determine the urgency of each situation and allocate resources appropriately in real time.
• Document all inbound communications and dispatch decisions with clarity to ensure thorough and accurate records.
• Route information and dispatch instructions to relevant responders while following established operational procedures.
• Contribute domain expertise to help define data quality standards and protocol effectiveness for AI training purposes.

Requirements

• Expertise in ambulance or emergency dispatch operations, including familiarity with incident triage and prioritization.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and remain composed in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
