Key responsibilities

• Flag errors, anachronisms, and claims that outrun the evidence to ensure high-quality model performance.
• Create exemplary datasets that demonstrate careful source evaluation and a clear distinction between primary evidence and secondary interpretation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design evaluation tasks and rubrics that test and strengthen the model's behavior.
• Define standards for model responses on contested humanistic questions, ensuring they remain precise and resistant to biased readings.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge in fields such as linguistics, history, classical studies, literature, philosophy, ethics, or the arts.
• Strong ability to assess arguments for validity, soundness, and hidden premises.
• Habitual reliance on primary sources and the ability to weigh them against secondary literature.
• Excellent analytical writing skills in English, characterized by precision and clarity.
• Comfort working with evolving instructions to produce high-standard annotations and critiques.
