AI Systems Engineering Expert

TripleTen is a global platform dedicated to digital re-skilling, helping individuals from diverse backgrounds launch sustainable careers in tech. We are currently seeking an AI Systems Engineering Expert to lead our new program designed for experienced engineers transitioning into system architecture roles.

Key responsibilities

• Host weekly live sessions focusing on system design, service splitting, scaling strategies, and architectural trade-offs.
• Conduct group office hours and 1:1 sessions to support students through complex projects and capstone work.
• Provide high-level architectural feedback on student deliverables, including cloud infrastructure, security reviews, and distributed systems.
• Lead mock architecture review boards and simulated executive-panel presentations to provide senior-level critique.
• Act as the technical escalation point for supporting instructors and set the standard for technical excellence within the cohort.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a senior software architect, platform engineer, or senior backend/infrastructure engineer.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping systems at scale in a professional environment.
• Deep expertise in system design, API architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform), and distributed systems.
• Ability to diagnose and critique architectural decisions live while explaining the reasoning behind design choices.
• Strong English proficiency (C1+) with excellent communication skills for instruction and feedback.
