AI Product Engineer — desktop + mobile app

Atonicode.com is a boutique, profitable product studio focused on building AI-driven solutions for small-business owners. We are looking for an AI Product Engineer to join our small, agile team to help develop and maintain our flagship desktop and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Ship features and fixes across the entire stack, including desktop, mobile, and backend components.
• Own the end-to-end release process, including building, signing, notarizing, and verifying software deployments.
• Work in an AI-native environment, utilizing agent-driven development workflows to orchestrate and review code.
• Collaborate directly on product development, prioritizing simplicity and user-friendly solutions for non-technical customers.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the ability to navigate and contribute to diverse codebases.
• Proven experience in shipping real-world products, such as apps in a store or projects with active users.
• A pragmatic approach to development, favoring the smallest effective solution and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
• Self-directed mindset with the ability to solve problems independently without needing detailed specifications.
