AI Privacy Engineer / Data Protection Coordinator

emagine Polska is seeking an AI Privacy Engineer / Data Protection Coordinator to play a pivotal role in ensuring that AI capabilities are delivered efficiently while maintaining strict compliance and accountability. This position acts as a critical bridge between engineering teams and data protection functions, ensuring that privacy is embedded into the design and implementation of advanced AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own the AI data protection gate for AI use cases developed within Central AI.
• Translate complex data protection requirements into actionable technical guidance for engineering teams.
• Conduct thorough privacy risk assessments and drive the implementation of pragmatic mitigation measures.
• Establish and maintain structured, up-to-date documentation to ensure efficient reviews and auditable compliance.
• Manage data subject rights requests specifically involving AI systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field combined with a legal qualification in an EU jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of professional experience within an international corporate environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR and experience with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) at scale.
• Solid technical understanding of modern AI systems, including LLMs and vector stores.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge solution designs effectively.
• Fluency in English and a pragmatic, outcome-driven approach to operating under ambiguity.
