AI Platform Engineer Senior/Mid

Vectoryx.ai GmbH is building an AI-native claims operation, focusing on automating complex insurance processes. We are looking for a Senior or Mid AI Platform Engineer to own and develop the infrastructure that makes our AI agents reliable, fast, and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Python services that orchestrate our agentic pipelines using tools like FastAPI and LangChain.
• Managing production runtime, including deployment, scaling, and ensuring service resilience under real-world load.
• Designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for safe, repeatable delivery.
• Building and optimizing the async processing backbone and data layer to ensure scalability and performance.
• Implementing comprehensive observability, including tracing, logging, and metrics, while maintaining high security standards.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend, platform, or DevOps engineering with a strong systems-thinking mindset.
• Hands-on experience building and operating production services on Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end release processes, including Git strategies and safe environment promotion.
• Strong proficiency in Python and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on cloud-agnostic solutions and avoiding vendor lock-in.
• Deep understanding of database performance, including query optimization and selecting appropriate datastores.
