AI Platform Engineer

dotLinkers is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to join a global technology company specializing in software solutions for the fitness industry. You will be responsible for building and operating the infrastructure that supports AI-powered products, focusing on reliability, scalability, and developer experience in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform capabilities such as LLM gateways, retrieval systems, and agent workflows.
• Own AI platform deliverables from initial problem definition through production launch and ongoing improvement.
• Define measurable success criteria and service-level objectives to guide system performance.
• Develop secure AI execution environments with appropriate permissions, auditability, and access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish technical standards for production-ready AI systems.

Requirements

• Practical experience building or operating production AI systems, including LLM applications or agent frameworks.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in designing and operating distributed systems.
• Knowledge of AI system evaluation, retrieval quality, and trade-offs between latency and cost.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset for building reusable platform capabilities.
