AI-Native VP of Software Engineering (OTE $150,000/year USD), CXT Software

CXT Software is seeking an AI-Native VP of Software Engineering to lead our engineering and SaaS operations organization. You will define how we build and run software in the AI era, ensuring reliability and high-quality outcomes for our logistics and healthcare technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team of directors and architects while setting a high hiring bar.
• Integrate AI-assisted development, testing, and operations into the core workflow, verifying adoption through real behavior.
• Own end-to-end quality, production reliability, uptime, security operations, and cloud cost management.
• Drive architecture strategy, including legacy modernization and establishing standards for AI-generated code.
• Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to deliver the roadmap and resolve customer escalations.

Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership and 2 years managing managers.
• Proven experience leading multi-team B2B SaaS organizations through periods of growth and legacy modernization.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agents in production environments with measurable results.
• Strong background in running flow-based delivery, CI/CD, and automated testing at scale.
• Experience managing production operations, including on-call rotations, incident response, and SLAs.
