KYOTU Technology is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our team in developing an intelligent Energy Management System for commercial and industrial facilities. You will work on cutting-edge solutions that optimize energy consumption, storage, and distribution to maximize renewable energy usage and reduce costs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and improve Reinforcement Learning models for intelligent battery energy storage control.
- Research and evaluate various approaches to complex energy optimization problems.
- Define reward functions, states, actions, and constraints for RL environments.
- Develop and maintain simulations of batteries, PV installations, and energy flows.
- Prepare and process large datasets related to energy consumption, weather, and market prices.
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Python and strong experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of Reinforcement Learning with hands-on experience in algorithms such as DQN or PPO.
- Practical experience in deploying ML models into production environments.
- Strong understanding of mathematical optimization and model benchmarking.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a high level of independence.
